Bryce Courtenay

I'm currently reading 'The Power of One' and so far it's going alright (expect a review in the near-ish future). Anyway I thought I'd just slap up a bibliography of Bryce Courtenay.
Courtenay is quite old now, about 73. His first novel was published quite late in his life, when he was about 57, but he has wasted no time in pumping them out since his first initial success ('The Power of One' - which remains his most famous book). He was born in South Africa but is often regarded as Australian, having lived in this country for quite some time and setting most of his books here (besides, claiming non-Australian celebrities as Australians has long been our tradition!).
His books...
The Power of One (1989) Made into an international film
Tandia (1992) Sequel to the 'Power of One'
April Fool's Day (1993) Memoir about Courtenay's son, who died of AIDS
Recipe For Dreaming (1994) Gift-book, non-fiction
The Potato Factory (1995) Made into an Australian mini-series
Tommo and Hawk (1997) Sequel to 'The Potato Factory
The Family Frying Pan (1997)
The Stranger Inside: An Erotic Adventure (1997) Courtenay contributed a short story to this collection
Yowie (1997) Children's book
Jessica (1998) Made into an Australian mini-series
The Night Country (1998)
Solomon's Song (1999) Continues the story on from 'Tommo and Hawk'
Four Fires (2001)
Matthew Flinder's Cat (2002)
Brother Fish (2004)
Whitethorn (2005)
Sylvia (2006)
Re-issues...
The Power of One (1999) Young Readers Edition
The Australian Trilogy (2000) Omnibus, comprising 'The Potato Factory', 'Tommo and Hawk' and 'Solomon's Song'.

Great post. Bryce is gorgeous. I love him. I don't care how old he is. Sure some of his books are so-so, but he's got integrity. And nothing comes close to The Power of One. Great read.
And yes, Cibbuano, I've read In Cold Blood. I stay just skim til it picks up again. It does pick up.
