Kingdom Hearts is a manga adapted from the famous RPG with the same title by Square Enix. The manga has 3 volumes altogether.
Genres: action, adventure, comedy, fantasy
Age rating: Older Children (May contain mild bad language, bloodless violence)
Synopsis: Based off the Squaresoft/Disney videogame of the same title, Sora must travel across different “worlds” or Disney characters in order to find his friends, and to help save the planets from the Heartless.

As much as I love the game, I also love this manga version. So, let's start with the storyline first. As you already know that the manga is adapted from the game so of course you would expect the same storyline like the game. This is true somehow but the manga version is a lot more laidback compared to the game version. What I'm referring to is you can see all kinds of funny expressions on Sora which is a rare thing to see in the game. Yeah, you can always expect expression changing in the manga but if you're very attached with the game itself (like me), of course it's a wonderful thing to see that plus with the jokes that you could never get in the game. As for places that Sora went, there are one place isn't included in the manga which is The Jungle (where they met Tarzan). For me, it wasn't such a big deal considering that it didn't affect much the whole storyline. Overall, it still follows the original game storyline with the added jokes here and there.
This is something that I'm very impressed with this manga is the artwork. I don't really care much about the artwork as long as it's not so sketchy but the manga is drawn very nicely. The stroke used isn't just like the typical manga style probably because there are Disney characters are in the manga. Therefore, adapting the manga style into Disney characters seem wrong. The manga drawing is very nice and neat so it's pleasant to the eyes of the people who are reading it. The background is not messy either, like I said it's very pleasant to look at it.
Don't believe me? Have a look at it here:
If you're worried about the changes in storyline (I do), fear not because this manga is still following the original storyline. If you buy the Final Mix version (I don't know whether it's available in English or not), you'll get more of it. All I can say that it's worth a buy whether you're Kingdom Hearts fans or not
