Kurt Vonnegut dies
April 12th 2007 13:54
I just heard that Kurt Vonnegut has died at the age of 84. This is terrible news, he was pretty much my favourite author. I'm speechless, I don't know what to say... I thought he would be around for a while longer, that we might even get one more book out of him. He died a few weeks after he fell in his home.
He left behind nearly 20 books and short story collections, and will be remembered for his unique contribution to American literature.
I feel very sad right now.

I think you've written or said everything in these two lines:
I feel very sad right now.
It says a lot about how much you loved the man and his writing.
I like it when men express their emotions.
And to be sad like you are now? There's nothing wrong with that ... It shows how much you did love him ...
Be sad. Grieve ... I'ts the right time for it ... (it's the right kind of sadness ...
I've never seen that pic of him ... It's just so 'authorish' ... Thanks for putting it up ...
And Posts like this? They're my favourites on Orble ... they're real ... They're human ...

For the Sake of Argument
My Apologetics
I think that Kurt and Mark Twain are the only people that make American litrature worth reading. Satire in the hands of true masters.
BTW I did post somethignabout him also.
Regret his passing despite a good innings of 84 years.
