Top 5 Books
December 1st 2006 09:59
I'm going away for a few days so I thought I'd just do a short entry on each of my blogs today.
What are your five favourite books?
If I had to narrow it down (and of course, it always changes), I think my current favourites would be...
'Breakfast of Champions' - Kurt Vonnegut
'The Snapper' - Roddy Doyle
'Grendel' - John Gardner
'Watership Down' - Richard Adams
Wow. That was actually a lot harder than I though it would be. There are other books which have had a big impact on me, and I've spoken about them on here as if they were the best books I've ever read... but at this little point in time these are the books I feel most fondly about.

Movies and Life
I haven't read any of the books you've mentioned but have seen the films of Watership Down and The Snapper. The Snapper was great and Watership Down made me cry as I mentioned on a post of mine here.
At the moment I'm engrossed in Suskind's Perfume, I've never read anything like it.

Yeah.
Pratchett would prob be my top 5 but thats because I have lived a sheltered life and not read much outside of mandatory school books and all of Pratchett...
