Upcoming Science-Fiction and Fantasy novels

Space Boy by Orson Scott Card
Orson Scott Card turns his rather skilled hands from epic adult's science-fiction to adventurous children's science-fiction with this tale of interstellar travel and saving the world. James Patterson and China Mieville have both recently attempted to crack the tricky children's fiction market with varying degrees of success - time will tell if Orson Scott Card can do any better. Due for release in August 2007.
Sandworms of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson
Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson continue to mine the Dune franchise for all it's worth with what promises to be the final Dune book. The two authors recently released 'Hunters of Dune', based on Frank Herbert's notes for the final, seventh Dune novel. Of course, smelling the almighty dollar, they felt that these notes were dense enough to be made into two full-length novels... technically (prequels aside), 'Sandworms of Dune' will be the eighth Dune novel. Nonetheless, the authors are stubbornly referring to it as Part 2 of the seventh novel. Due for release in August 2007.
Renegade Magic by Robin Hobb
The third and final part of Hobb's 'Soldier Son' trilogy. No cover picture is available yet, though the book is due for release in early July 2007. What will Hobb do next? As far as I know she's given no indication what her next book will be (assumedly, considering her last 12 books make up four seperate trilogies, her next book will be the first in a new trilogy). Will her next saga return to the world of Fitz and the Fool? Will we see more of the world below the Six Duchies? I guess we'll have to wait another year to find out.
